A one day course which is designed to introduce you to Paddlesports safely and provide you with confidence. You will be introduced to the equipment that should be used and shown the basic skills to take you where you want to go. We will show everything you need to know to get yourself into paddlesports, from what to wear to how to paddle.

During this one day course we will show you;
Personal Paddling Skills
1. Lifting, Carrying and Launching
2. Forwards Paddling
3. Steering and Controlling the Boat
4. Returning to the Bank and Getting Out
Rescue Skills
1. Capsize and Swim Ashore
2. Emptying
Safety, Leadership and Group Skills
1. Personal Risk Management
2. Awareness of others
Theory
1. Equipment
2. Safety
Our aim is that by the end of the day you will 'have the bug' for paddlesports!

: Park in the Lower Fishguard Car Park on the Right-hand bank of the river. then walk to the end of the quay to meet us.

: Any medical conditions must be declared to the coach on the activity.

: Intsruction will be provided by fully qualified. BCU and WCA Coaches. with many years experience.

: The Pembrokeshire Coastline. Seals. Dolphins. Fishgaurd Harbour. Stena Ferry. Sea birds. Lots of Wildlife in General.
