To Forgemill! Far from the maddening crowd, impatienceand pollution of city life, hidden in the valley of Llanmorlais in the heart of Gower you will find a special welcome for Lover's of the Countryside.

The Morgan family established Forgemill in 1971 and has developed quality country holidays for those who enjoy countryside pursuits. A friendly and personal atmosphere is our strength.

Forgemill is in the heart of an area of outstanding beauty, located in a peaceful and scenic area, spaciously surrounded by open moorland with easy access to the many beautiful beaches of Gower, a walkers paradise.

We offer a friendly greeting comfortable accommodation wholesome traditional fare and beautiful countryside to ride, walk or cycle. We are 6.5 miles from Swansea.

Forgemill sports an outdoor swimming pool and Riding Stables, all our horses are bred and trained at Forgemill.
The best way to see and enjoy the countryside is from the back of that Great Gentleman ''THE HORSE'' If horse riding is not for you there are plenty of other activities....Trout fish, golf, bird watch, golf, all within a leisurely walking distance from the farm. Or you can just laze around on one of the beautiful beaches and take it easy. You can even bring your own horse along where, both of you can enjoy bracing gallops through the surf.

Cartersford Farm was acquired in 1995 and is now part of Forgemill, 68 acres of unspoiled woods, the tranquility of nature untouched. Within, you will find numerous badger sets, foxes, and a host of wild life. There are also the ruins of the last Smithy and wheelright in Gower.
The Killy Willy flows under the bridge alongside the farm.

All this is genuine Wales at it's best....Anyone who walked or rode through it, will come back different for a long time.
