RHS LECTURE AT PICTON CASTLE: NEW PLANT AT PICTON
As a garden with one of the largest private plant collections in Wales, Picton Castle is proud to be part of the RHS’s Rural Development Scheme. We host three RHS lectures every year, two by our own head gardener Roddy Milne and one by a guest speaker. (This year our guest will be Nigel Colborn, on 17th June).
Roddy’s Spring lecture will be ‘New Plants at Picton Castle’, looking at how the range of plants that can be grown is changing as a result of Climate Change. After his indoor presentation, Roddy will lead a short walk around relevant parts of the woodland and walled garden.
If you're keen on gardening, do come along. It's an informal and informative afternoon. A great way to swap ideas with other gardeners and get advice from the professional!
