The Taberna is a rather special place, which you will want to visit again. It is a traditional style village Inn at Herbrandston, three miles from Milford Haven on the road to Dale in Pembrokeshire.

On the coastal path, the Taberna is about two hundred feet above sea level, only separated from the sea by open fields.

We have three light and airy guest rooms, a double, a single, and a family room with a sea view.

The Plaice to Meat is the Taberna's formal restaurant. This has a nautical theme, and is open lunchtimes and evenings (except autumn and winter sundays). During the summer months, fresh fish specials may be available.

The Buffer Stop restaurant with its railway theme serves traditional pub food. This is open every day lunchtimes and evenings (except autumn and winter Sunday evenings).

We offer two real ales throughout the year, two real ciders, and a selection of wines, as well as the normal varieties you would expect.

As well as the restaurants, the Taberna has a lounge, where the locals will be happy to chat with you, and a bar with pool, games console and darts facilities. A selection of board games is available behind the bar.

The Taberna is an ideal base for walking. By arrangement, we can drop people off or pick them up at locations from Pembroke to Newgale. We can also pick guests up from Milford station or the long distance bus stop.

We are also close to Milford Haven Golf course, with its unique views over the haven. Short breaks are available throughout the year. Please ask for details.

Watchwords at the Taberna are a warm welcome, good food and drink, peace and quiet and pleasant conversation.
