and we are based right in the heart of the best of it ! If you're visiting South Wales, the Afan Valley is just too good to miss. Only a stones throw from the M4 at junction 40 Port Talbot. Voted amongst the Worlds top-ten Mountain Bike riding venues.
Well whether you plan to meander along the many miles of valley-bottom cycle routes, ride long distance trails or take on the challenge of the world-class man-made single-track trails we've got it all here in the Afan Forest Park.
The Internationally recognised MIAS Group Leader training organisation have accredited Afan Valley as the provider of courses and accreditation. Anyone leading a group of cyclists can after undertaking a two day training course protect themselves with personal Indemnity insurance issued through the Association of British Cycling Coaches. The course is approver by the AALA.
Bicycle Rental (MTB & hybrid cycles)
Over the years our bicycle rental business has evolved from purely being a provider for the mountain bike fraternity wanting full suspension and hardtail mountain bikes. We now offer touring and hybrid cycles for the long distance tourer. Our delivery collection service is free of charge for MTBs within the Afan Forest Park including the Afan Argoed and Glyncorrwg Ponds visitor centres.
Regional Cycle trails
Sustrans Routes such as the Taffs Trail radiate from Cardiff up through the valleys and on into Brecon. Or you may choose the Celtic Trail coastal route via Bridgend and Port Talbot onto Swansea which is the gateway for the Gower Peninsular. West beyond Gorsinon the Carmarthenshire Coastal trail heads towards Pembrokeshire. We can Deliver the appropriate bikes to groups of riders on any of these routes.
Local Guides and Knowledge
If you crave a little more adventure we've got the knowledge and experience to show you the very best bits of the Wall, the Penhydd Trail, Whites Level and Skyline. Mind you, if you want to travel further afield in Wales, we can take care of that too with out local Challenge rides or the 5 day challenge TRANS-WALES
traversing Snowdon Cader-Idris and Pen-Y-fan .
Cycle and Mountain Bike Sales
But we don't only rent out cycles we sell them too. We are dealers for the worlds largest bike company Giant bicycles who are the UK market leader. if you're looking for a bargain we also sell ex-rental and ex-demo bikes that tend to be about 4 to 6 months old. All at ridiculous prices - check them out on our website.
